Sometimes I like to see how I am related to someone famous...or a friend that has similar roots as I do. A couple of these are made easy because someone did all the work by identifying people in genealogy that have a lot of famous descendants. That way I only have to prove that I am related directly to that one ancestor.
Here are a couple that I have found so far:
Hillary Rodham Clinton to my father, Paul Mullen (11th cousins)
Philip McCaffrey (my husband) to my grandmother, Doris Boulay (8thcousins)
