Peter Mullen aka "Poughkeepsie Pete"

I, like many others doing genealogical research into the Mullen name with origins out of New York and into Nova Scotia, have all hit the same wall. That wall's name is Peter Mullen (the progenitor of the Nova Scotian Mullens).

Peter shows himself prior to the American Revolution on a few documents and a mention in the Van Kleeck histories that he married Elinor Van Kleeck, daughter of Johannes and Rachel van de Bogart in 1770
